Job Description
CAMSOL TECHNOLOGIES is seeking passionate Software Development Instructors to teach at our training hubs across Cameroon. You'll empower the next generation of developers by delivering high-quality bootcamp programs.
This role combines teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship to create transformative learning experiences for aspiring tech professionals.
Responsibilities
- •Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on workshops on software development topics
- •Develop and update curriculum for bootcamp programs
- •Mentor students and provide one-on-one guidance
- •Create coding projects, assignments, and assessments
- •Track student progress and provide feedback
- •Stay current with industry trends and technologies
- •Collaborate with other instructors to improve teaching methods
- •Support student job placement efforts
- •Conduct technical interviews for program applicants
Requirements
- •4+ years of professional software development experience
- •Strong knowledge of full-stack web development (JavaScript, React, Node.js)
- •Passion for teaching and mentoring
- •Excellent communication and presentation skills
- •Patience and ability to explain complex concepts simply
- •Experience with curriculum development or teaching (formal or informal)
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- •Fluency in English and/or French
- •Willingness to travel between training hubs
Preferred Qualifications
- •Previous teaching or training experience
- •Experience with educational technology and online learning platforms
- •Knowledge of pedagogy and adult learning principles
- •Multiple programming language expertise
- •Experience mentoring junior developers
- •Involvement in tech community (meetups, conferences)
- •Content creation experience (blogs, videos, tutorials)
